How a review actually gets written.
We publish a small number of UK casino reviews each cycle. Each one is written by a named editor working from the same internal checklist so the reviews can actually be compared with each other.
What we look at
- Licensing — active UK Gambling Commission operating licence, registered trading name and any visible alternative dispute resolution route.
- Sign-up flow — how clear the registration is, what identity and affordability checks look like in practice, and whether deposit limits can be set at sign-up.
- Bonus terms — wagering requirement, eligible games, game weighting, maximum bet while wagering, time limits, and how clearly they are presented.
- Game range — studio mix, live tables, sports if present, and how easy it is to find what you want with filters.
- Payments — supported deposit and withdrawal methods, minimum and maximum amounts, time to first cashout after KYC clears.
- Mobile experience — performance on a real mid-range handset, not a flagship, and whether the mobile site loses features.
- Responsible gambling visibility — how many taps it takes to set a deposit limit, take a time-out, or reach GAMSTOP.
How the score is formed
Each category above is scored from one to ten by the reviewing editor and weighted against the others. The published headline number is a weighted average rounded to one decimal. Two scores will rarely be identical, and we actively avoid pushing everything into a narrow band.
Scores are editorial opinions, not regulatory ratings. They are not guarantees, not endorsements, and not predictions of how an individual player will get on with an operator.
What we don't do
- We don't publish fake user reviews or invented testimonials.
- We don't accept pre-written content from operators.
- We don't pretend a review is independent if any part of it has been edited by the operator.
- We don't describe gambling as a way to earn money.
Corrections
If something on the site is wrong or out of date, please email corrections@londonbonuslist.com. We aim to review correction requests within five working days, and if we change a review we will note that it was updated.
Re-review cadence
Operators change. We re-test each operator on the list at least once a cycle. If an operator's licence status, ownership, payment options or bonus structure changes materially, we will retest sooner.
